How your night kayaking adventure unfolds
Gather at the designated meeting point on Havelock Island
Select between a single or double kayak based on your preference
Certified guide walks you through paddling techniques, safety gear, and what to expect
Paddle gently through calm water, guided by the glowing bioluminescence and starlit sky
After approximately 2 hours, you'll paddle back to where you began
To make the most of your night kayaking experience, we recommend coming prepared with the right gear and mindset.
Essential information to prepare for your night kayaking adventure
Best visibility of bioluminescence typically occurs during new moon times (especially between November and February)
Suitable for ages 10–50, though healthy adults outside that range may still participate with guidance
No swimming needed—life jackets are included and mandatory for all participants
Tour times typically start around 3:00 AM and run till approximately 5:00 AM for optimal conditions
Trips are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in case of rough conditions for safety
Bring waterproof camera equipment to capture the magical bioluminescence phenomenon
